Anne joined the Maleny Garden Club on 17/6/2008
She joined the Committee sometime in 2012/13
Anne became Vice President at the 2014 AGM on 30/9/2014
She became the Treasurer in Oct 2015 – 6/10/2015
Anne did not seek re election as Treasurer at the 2020 AGM – 7/4/2020 – but remained on the Committee
She did not seek re election to the Committee at the 2021 AGM – 13/4/2021 – remained as normal member
Anne passed away on 8/4/2022. She was elected a Life Member posthumously on 28/3/2023
From the President’s Report by Dot Jupp when Anne stepped down as Treasurer in 2020.
Anne Boyle is stepping down as treasurer this year but will continue on the executive. She has been a very valuable member of the committee, dedicated to the club and to her role, willingly taking on the added jobs of insurance, risk management and catering. She has managed the accounts and presented reports in a totally professional manner. It is also to be noted that Anne is always ahead of the game; she sees the road ahead and foresees the consequences of our actions before anyone else. I have very much enjoyed working with her. Thank you, Anne, for your support and help.
