General Meetings

We meet on the last Tuesday each Month 9:30am – 12pm

Venue:   The Pavilion Maleny Showgrounds
Time: 9.30..am -12.00pm. Morning tea served at 9.30am for meeting start at 10am.

Guest Speaker: Rhea Phelan a member of the Pest Plant Team at Sunshine Coast Council. For over 12 years, Maria has been helping landholders and the community to identify and manage invasive weeds while protecting local biodiversity and farms. She also runs community engagement programs on biosecurity awareness for pest plants. With bachelor’s degrees in environmental science and law and growing up in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, Rhea is ideally suited to her position. Rhea’s talk at MGC will cover priority weeds in our area, including new emerging weeds and helpful information on weed hygiene.

PLEASE DO NOT attend the meeting if you have a cough, fever, sore throat, fatigue, loss of smell or taste, shortness of breath or any other symptoms that are associated with COVID.
