General Meetings
We meet on the last Tuesday each Month 9:30am – 12pm

Venue: Maleny Uniting Church, Maleny Showgrounds Pavilion
Time: 9.30..am -12.00pm. Morning tea served at 9.30am for meeting start at 10am.
Guest Speaker: Spencer Shaw “Bunya die-back on the Blackall Range”.. Spencer’s passion for preserving and restoring natural areas and wildlife has taken him to many amazing and diverse locations. From the foothills of the Pennines in his native Lancashire, UK, then to Adelaide as an emigrant, then to Bribie Island and ultimately to Maleny with partner Karen in 1993. They co-founded Brush Turkey Enterprises in 1998, as a small seed collection business specializing in rainforest plants. Brush Turkey Enterprises includes education, native plant nurseries, contracting and consultancy services. Spencer advocates for ecological restoration, native flora and regenerative agriculture through his writing, video and workshop presentations.
