Flaxton Gardens was the delightful venue for Maleny Garden Club’s Christmas lunch for 2019.
It was attended by more than 80 members and partners (See photo gallery below).
During the event, MGC President Dot Jupp made presentations to Speakers organiser Harvey Weston and Club Treasurer Anne Boyle to honour their special contributions during the year.
Carole Webb presented trophies to top performers in the hotly-contested competitions held at our monthly meetings. Lynda Reynolds won two trophies – for Most Points and also the Bunch of Flowers category. Ian Reimers won the trophy for Fruit and Vegetables.
In other results, Toni Walters topped the competition for the Flower of the Month, Bette Weston for Roses and Margaret Seidler for the All Else category, with Graham Shackell winning the Australian Natives category.
