Life Member – Lisa Plucknett
Lisa Plucknett is the Maleny Garden Club Poet Laureate and an accomplished violinist, Her husband, Kevin, just does as he is told (that’s if you believe their story). They have a great bond with the earth in their garden, in 2003 they were awarded second place in the Calaqua Waterwise Garden Competition in the Best Garden over 1000 Square Metres section. They were recognised for their Water-Wise gardening skills and their ability to work together with their neighbours showing joint pride in the adjoining gardens. This was featured in articles in the Hinterland Times and the Maleny News.
