Life Member – Edna Hawkins
First mentioned in the Minutes in 1961 Edna was elected as a steward for the monthly competitions. Elected as Vice President in February 1965 then again in 1965 for ’66, 1966 for ’67.
Edna was Librarian in 1967 as well as acting as hostess. She was Supervising Seward from 1968 until the last mention in 1987.
In charge of ‘Bring & Buy’ 1967. President 1968 for ’69 after Mrs Penney resigned, then elected as President in 1970 for ’71, and again ’71 for ’72. Vice President in 1973. Elected as President in 1973 for ’74, 1974 for ’75, 1975 for ’76, Vice President in 1976 for ’77 – 1978 for ’79 – 1979 as Assistant Treasurer. then again 1979 for ’80 as President. Elected in 1981 for ’82 as Treasurer and Bus Trip Convenor, 1982 for ’83, – 1983 for ’84 and 1984 for ’85, – 1985 for ’86 and 1986 for ’87 as Treasurer and Bus Convenor.
