Heritage Camellias planted in Maleny

Vice President Marnie Trass watering camellias

Maleny Garden Club members are involved in the Camellia Walk project at Settlers Green on Maleny’s outskirts.

A working bee was held in March to plant the heritage Camellias.

Retiring Councillor Jenny McKay took part in the day, planting three of the rarest Camellias with the help of local Camellia enthusiast Ron Tincknell and Club President Bill Henman.

Bill has included more details of the project in his President’s Report. Click the green button below…then scroll down to read more.
