At meetings of the Maleny Garden Club in the 1990s Joyce Butterfield presented a segment Friend or Foe, which identified bugs and pests in our gardens, some useful, some not. Joyce also advised on safe sprays and ways to manage the bugs and insects. A highlight was the presentation of Joyce’s detailed illustrations of these insects. Joyce was asked that she set up these illustrations at the Autumn Fair for all to see again. [From the minutes of January 1997].
We now bring you, once again, these wonderful sketches, together with Joyce’s articles.
